Within UpMail, Recommended Content refers to specific content set by an UpMail Champion for use by end users. This curated content serves as suggested or preferred content options to streamline the user experience.
Setting Recommended Content for Images & Documents/Links (Supporting Content)
1. Click on the image or supporting content section and select 'Settings' in the Recommended Content section.
2. The Recommended Content Configuration will appear. There are two modes to choose from: Handpick Mode or Tag Filter Mode.
Handpick Mode will allow you to select one or multiple images/supporting content to appear in the Recommended Content when a user clicks on that section.
A default image must be selected and in the below example, three images have been selected to use as Recommended Content.
Tag Filter Mode will allow you to use a content tag to display the images/supporting content that appears within the Recommended Content section.
A default image must be selected and in the below example, images with the tag 'hero shot' are set as Recommended Content.
3. Select the mode, default image and content or tag and click 'Save/Apply'.
Please note that end-users will be able to view and use other content by removing the tag within the search box.
Setting Recommended Content for Text Snippets
1. Click on the text snippet section and select 'Settings' in the Recommended Content section.
2. The Recommended Text box will appear and you can select between a Single Choice Selection, Multiple Choice Selection and Filter by tag.
For the Single Choice Selection, select the single text snippet that you would like to appear as Recommended Text and click 'Apply'.
For the Multiple Choice Selection, select the text snippets that you would like to appear as Recommended Text, select the default (by clicking 'use as default') and click 'Apply'.
For the Filter by tag, enter the tag you would like to appear as Recommended Text, select the default (by clicking 'use as default') and click 'Apply'.
Please note that end-users will only be able to search and view other text snippets with a tag assigned to it.
