If you prefer to send your UpMail email as a webpage link (URL), rather than sending it directly through UpMail, you have the option to do so. This can be particularly useful in the following scenarios:
-
You’d like to send the proposal from your own Outlook account.
-
You create a proposal via the Delphi or Oracle integration and you'd like to reply directly to the client email instead of starting a new email thread.

How to Generate a Link:
-
Complete your email in UpMail as usual.
-
Click the arrow icon next to the 'Send Email' button.
-
Select 'Generate Link' from the dropdown menu.
-
A window will appear with the generated link/URL.
-
Copy the link and paste it into your preferred email platform or messaging tool.
-
Click 'Close' to exit the window.
After closing the window, you’ll be directed to the 'Sent' page. Here, you'll see a reference to the generated URL.
To preview the email as your client will see it, click into the item and select 'View'.
This viewing process is the same as for any email sent directly through UpMail.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- The subject line appears on the Sent dashboard, so it’s helpful to include a booking name or ID in the subject for easier reference.
- You will be able to Duplicate or set a Reminder for a Webpage Link
- Emails sent via generated links do not include tracking data (e.g. opens or clicks).
