Editable Webpages in UpMail are primarily utilized to incorporate editable contracts, quotes, event schedules or agreements into your emails. By adding the webpage template to the Editable Webpage section within the Content Library, you can customize the webpage according to the specifics of the email you are sending and add merge fields or Meetings & Events tables. This feature streamlines the process of including personalized and tailored webpages to support your email communications.
Only UpMail Champions can create Editable Webpages via the Content Library.
To create an Editable Webpage, go to your Content Library and select Webpage Editable' on the left menu.
Select the 'Upload new document template' button.
Enter in a name for the webpage and select the 'Create Webpage editable template' button.
You will be taken back to the Content Library where you can click on the pencil icon of the webpage you just added in order to create the webpage and supporting content.
From the edit page you will be able to:
- Edit the Name
- Add a Label such as 'Click to View Quote'
- Add Image Alt Text
- Add Tags
- Select a Category*
- Add Image for Supporting Content
- Edit the Webpage
* Note that the Editable Document categories are not correlated with the template categories. The Default category will not pull in merge fields where the Event schedule category will pull in merge fields.
You will need to select 'Edit' to add in the content for the webpage. Within the webpage editor you can manually create a webpage containing text and images or copy and paste from an existing document.
Once saved, you have created your Editable Webpage and can return to the Content Library to edit the webpage or supporting content item further if required.
Please note:
- You are able to add an e-signature to an Editable Webpage within the email editor.
- To remove an Editable Webpage from your Content Library, click on the pencil icon to edit the webpage and select the 'Remove' button.
- Before sending an Editable Webpage, please preview the Editable Webpage in the email composer. The formatting of the webpage may change in the editor vs the preview and require some adjustments.
- You are only able to add one Editable Webpage to each email.
