When an e-signature is initially added to a document, you will be prompted to set the recipients and expiration date.
If the recipient has not signed the document prior to the expiry date, the sender will receive an email notification indicating that the document signature has expired. The email notification will contain the below message:
Please note that the recipient will not receive an email notification regarding the expired signature.
If the expiry date is already set and it is needed to be changed, follow the below steps:
- Click on the placeholder for your uploaded contract, then click 'Edit' under the Quick Edit section.
- At the bottom of the screen, choose the 'Select Date' field and choose the date you want to set.
- Click Update.
Please note that once the contract with the e-signature has been sent, the expiry date cannot be changed.
