To create a new email or template, start by clicking the 'Create a Template' button on the main template page.
This will take you to the UpMail Inspiration/Template Gallery where you can choose from 14 different templates.
Select 'Preview Template' to view a larger preview of the template. From here you can:
- View the Previous or Next template
- Cancel to return to the Template Gallery
- Use Template - this will take you to the email composer with your branding and content applied to the template. You will need to click Save As to save the template into your library.
- Save As - this will prompt you to select where you would like to save the template (Draft, Recommended, Teams or My), you will then need to enter a Template Name, select a Category and click 'Create'. You will be taken to the email composer with your branding and content applied to the template. If you would like to make any further edits to the template, ensure you Save As.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The template previews show a different logo and content, however, once the template is selected your account's branding and content will be applied to it.
- There is no option to begin with a blank template since you can easily edit and customize any of the templates available. The Template Gallery serves as a source of inspiration for various email communication styles, types and layouts.
