UpMail allows you to upload multiple large documents (brochures, images, videos, etc.) into your emails without adding to the file size. UpMail will house your files and allow you to present the content in the most engaging formats.
Why is this better than attaching? When attaching a file the traditional way, you could go over the file size limit, which will prevent your email from being sent. When attaching content through My Library, you don’t have to worry about such restrictions.
Option A | Using "Recommended Content" Section - Learn how to select the correct content for your email based on recommendations uploaded by your UpMail Champion, as well as how to embed the correct document/url if needed.
Option B | Upload/Select your Own Content - Learn how to upload and manage content from your computer, giving you further access to all type of relevant content you can share.
Keep in mind | When uploading content, you need to edit a couple of attributes
- Label and Alt text - The label will be displayed over the image. Make sure to check that it doesn’t contain a file extension such as .pdf. It is also important that the alternative text matches the label
- Viewing / Editing attachment - if you have added an attachment, you can view the document or remove it if necessary
- Cropping - To make sure this piece of content looks great, you can adjust what is displayed by cropping it.
